Note: in case you already own some cryptocurrencies, it’s possible to perform the deposit in a simple and efficient way with no verification required.

• 1) In order to deposit some cryptocurrencies you already have, from the main menu click on one of the possible assets and then on the “Receive” button.
• 2) In the following page you will be shown a QR code that represents the receiving address. Under it, you may find the “Copy” and “Share” buttons to facilitate the deposit.
• 3) Once the coins have been transferred, these will be shown in the asset section of the main menu.

IMPORTANT: do not use the receiving address to receive/send coins different from the supported ones. Never use your BTC address to deposit BCH (Bitcoin Cash), these kind of wrong deposits could cost you the loss of the coins.

Here you can find all the steps to download the Dokwallet's app and create your personal wallet. In this guide, we will refer to the Android version.

• Download and install the application by using this link
• Open Dokwallet and select "Create a new wallet"
• Read carefully the Terms of Service and click "I agree"
• Start creating a new wallet by choosing a password:
  - choose a strong password and store it safely and offline in a secure place
  - the password will be used to access the wallet, confirm transactions and all the important operations done within the app
  - remember that Dokwallet cannot recover your password
  - write down the 12 words displayed, store them safely in a secure place
  - never share your 12 words passphrase with anyone, including people claiming to be part of Dokwallet team
  - don't store your 12 words passphrase digitally, physically write it down
  - for security reasons, it's not possible to take a screenshot of the passphrase
• Choose if you want to share anonymous usage data in order to improve the application and the user experience
• Your Dokwallet is ready.

Currently, it is not possible to make direct FIAT currency deposits into your Dok wallet.

Within the "Buy Crypto" section, however, it is now feasible to buy USDT or USDC (stable coins pegged to dollars).

This feature enables the acquisition of tokens that serve as representations of FIAT currency, preserving a 1-to-1 parity and effectively simulating a real FIAT asset.

Once a transaction has been set as "Confirmed", it cannot be reverted anymore, thus it cannot be canceled.

Before a transaction gets the above-mentioned status, so it is still "Pending", because of low gas or other issues, you can do the following steps to revert/cancel the transaction:
Do a soft reset of the application, Go into the "More" menu, "Reset application" leaving only the first option checked hit "Reset".

After the reset, do a 0 high gas transaction to yourself. You can change the amount of gas from Normal to High in the advanced options, top left corner of the transaction window.

In order to recover your Dokwallet (in case you have changed or lost your device), you need to be in possession of the backup phrase (12 words).
Reinstall the application. At a certain point, during the configuration process, you will be asked to Create a new wallet or Restore an existing one.
Choose the Restore option, then insert the 12 words. Your wallet and assets will be available again.

Dokwallet is built on an HD (Hierarchical Deterministic) framework, a privacy-centered method for address generation and management. Once a BTC address receives an incoming payment, a new address will automatically be generated and display.

While previously used Bitcoin addresses remain valid and can always be used to receive funds multiple times, if you use the same address each time you receive funds, it becomes easy for anyone to track your entire payment history. This method of address generation improves privacy by automatically presenting you with a new address when you’re expecting a new payment.

Certainly, to create an additional wallet, please follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the "Wallets" option located in the menu bar.

2. Click on the plus sign icon.

3. Proceed to create a new wallet using the provided options.

You can install the app from this Google Play Store page for Android devices and from this App Store page, for iOS devices. Also, the Dokwallet's app is available for desktop here.
Once loaded on your smartphone and laptop, follow the instructions and create your wallet or restore an already existing one.

The wallet cannot be deleted because it is on the blockchain, but you can uninstall the Dokwallet's app from your device to prevent further access.
