1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Wallet and related services provided by the Company. By accessing or using the Wallet, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.2. Scope of Services
- The Wallet is non-custodial: users retain full control of their private keys and digital assets.
- The Company does not:
- Sell, buy, swap, or custody cryptocurrencies on behalf of users.
- Provide investment, financial, or tax advice.
- The Wallet supports Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Binance Coin (BNB), and other cryptocurrencies as updated periodically.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Wallet.
- By using the Wallet, you confirm that you are legally permitted to access and use cryptocurrency services under the laws of your jurisdiction.
4. Risk Disclosure
- Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible.
- Digital assets are volatile and may lose value.
- You are solely responsible for safeguarding your seed phrase and private keys. Loss of these credentials will result in permanent loss of access to your assets.
- The Company is not liable for losses arising from market fluctuations, user error, unauthorized access, or third-party service failures.
5. Compliance & AML/KYC
- As a non-custodial wallet, the Company is not classified as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) and does not perform customer identification or transaction monitoring.
- However, the Company reserves the right to cooperate with regulators and law enforcement if required by applicable law.
- Users are responsible for complying with tax, reporting, and regulatory obligations in their jurisdiction.
6. Data Protection & Privacy
- The Wallet does not collect personal data beyond what is necessary for technical operation.
- If any data is collected, it will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including GDPR where relevant.

7. Intellectual Property
- The Wallet is open-source software.
- Users may access, use, and contribute to the source code subject to the applicable open-source license (see GitHub repository for details).
- The Company retains rights to trademarks, logos, and branding associated with DOK Wallet.
8. Termination
- The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Wallet at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice.
- Termination may occur if you breach these Terms, engage in unlawful activity, or compromise the security of the Wallet.
- Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms shall immediately cease.
- Termination does not affect your ability to access your assets via your private keys through alternative wallet providers.
9. Restrictions
You agree not to:- Use the Wallet for unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Wallet, its systems, or related networks.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Wallet software except as permitted under its open-source license.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using the Wallet.
- Use the Wallet to facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, or other illegal activities.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:- Your use of the Wallet;
- Your violation of these Terms;
- Your breach of applicable laws or regulations;
- Your negligence or willful misconduct.
11. Limitation of Liability
- The Wallet is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages;
- Loss of profits, data, or assets;
- Errors or failures in blockchain networks or third-party providers;
- Any damages arising from your inability to access or use the Wallet.
- The Company's total liability under these Terms shall not exceed €100 (one hundred euros), regardless of the cause of action.
- Carve-out: Nothing in this section shall exclude or limit liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, to the extent such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
12. No Class Proceedings
- You agree that any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved on an individual basis.
- Class actions, collective proceedings, or representative claims are expressly waived to the extent permitted by applicable law.
13. Time Bar
- Any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to these Terms must be filed within one (1) year after the event giving rise to such claim or after you knew or reasonably should have known of the facts giving rise to the claim, whichever is later.
- Claims filed after this period shall be permanently barred.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
- Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) in accordance with its arbitration rules.
- The seat of arbitration shall be London, United Kingdom.
- The language of arbitration shall be English.
- Nothing in this section shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by the Company on the Site, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the use of the Wallet.17. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without the Company's prior written consent. The Company may assign these Terms without restriction.18. Amendments
- The Company may update these Terms at any time.
- Users will be notified of material changes via the Site or by email (if email address is available). Continued use of the Wallet after changes constitutes acceptance.
- If you do not agree to the amended Terms, you must discontinue use of the Wallet.
